WEEK 3 DAY 2

The Importance of Sacred Conversations

Devotional
Sacred conversations are essential for soul care. These are deep, meaningful dialogues that catalyze faith and hope. Jesus engaged in such conversations with Moses and Elijah about His upcoming sacrifice. These conversations provided Him with the strength and perspective needed for His mission.

In our lives, not everyone should have the authority to engage in sacred conversations with us. Social media encourages us to share everything with everyone, but true sacred conversations demand sacred friendships. If you have such friendships, cherish them. If not, pray and seek them until you find them.

Bible Verse
And behold, two men were talking with him, Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. - Luke 9:30-31

Reflection Question
Who are the people in your life with whom you can have sacred conversations? How can you cultivate these relationships?

Quote
Sacred conversation demands sacred friendships that are hard to come by. I know they are. So if you have them, thank God and don't hold back. If you don't have them, pray and seek them until you find them.

Prayer
Lord, help me to identify and cultivate sacred friendships. Guide me to engage in meaningful conversations that strengthen my faith and hope. Amen.
