The Care Ministries of HC offer both short term and ongoing support groups for individuals dealing with personal challenges and spiritual crises. These groups are designed to bring care, encouragement and companionship to those in uniquely stressful circumstances. If you think you can benefit from such a ministry, contact the Care Ministry office at (270) 534-1400. We will put you in touch with the appropriate ministry team leader(s).
CONGREGATIONAL CARE
In order to care for our congregation and their families during a health-related event, members can notify the pastoral/church staff of upcoming hospital stays, surgeries or immediate prayer needs by calling the church office at (270) 534-1400, extension 258.
DIVORCE CARE
Find help and healing for you and your children as you deal with the hurt of separation and divorce.

These and many more questions are addressed in the Divorce Care program. If you have children who are caught in the middle, Divorce Care for Kids (DC4K) can help them cope as well. Both men and women benefit and find comfort and answers to their questions. It hurts to lose someone. Find help at GriefShare, a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 PM - call for room details.
SONSHINE MINISTRIES
We all need “Son” shine in our lives! This ministry focuses on staying connected with members that are home-bound and residents in the local nursing homes and retirement centers. Providing friendship and activities, spiritual encouragement, and helpful ideas with women who have lost their husbands. Women sharing with women; helping each other become the women God intends us to be in this new season of life.
