Devotional
When it comes to Jesus, there's no comfortable middle ground. His claims are too radical, His demands too complete for casual acceptance. We can't simply admire Him from a distance or treat Him as one good teacher among many. Jesus confronts us with a choice that demands our whole hearts. Lukewarm appreciation isn't enough—He calls for complete devotion. This might seem harsh, but it's actually an act of love. Jesus knows that half-hearted commitment leads to spiritual stagnation and ultimately fails to bring the transformation our souls need.

Lord, forgive my lukewarm heart. Light a fire of passion for You that consumes all half-hearted devotion. Help me to love You completely and follow You wholly. Amen.
