WEEK 7 DAY 2
The Promise in Pain
Devotional
In our darkest moments, it's easy to feel abandoned or question God's presence. Yet even in these valleys, there's a profound promise we often overlook. God doesn't waste our pain - every tear, every heartache has purpose. When we're being sifted, we're actually being transformed. Like a sculptor carefully chipping away at marble, God is at work revealing the masterpiece within. This process isn't punishment; it's preparation. Our suffering isn't meaningless; it's meaningful.
Bible Verse
"But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers." - Luke 22:32
Reflection Question
How have past difficulties in your life ultimately led to growth or positive change?
Quote
"God will not waste one tear from our eyes, one ache from our heart, one bit of sorrow and grief. He will use it all to sift us and purify us and to make us into something beautiful."
Prayer
Father, when pain feels overwhelming, remind me of Your promise to use all things for good. Help me trust Your process, even when I can't see the outcome. Thank You for being present in my pain. Amen.
