WEEK 7 DAY 1

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

Devotional
God created you as a masterpiece—body and soul working together in perfect harmony. Your physical body isn't just a shell housing your spirit; it's an integral part of who you are. When you're exhausted, stressed, or running on empty, you're not operating as the complete person God designed you to be. Your body is incredibly wise. It often recognizes anxiety, depression, and stress before your mind catches up. Those tension headaches, that knot in your stomach, the restless nights—these aren't just inconveniences. They're your body's way of communicating that something needs attention. We live in a culture that treats the body as secondary, something to push through or ignore. But God's design is different. He created you as a whole person, and your physical well-being directly impacts your emotional and spiritual health. When you honor your body's need for rest, nourishment, and care, you're actually honoring God's design. This week, begin to listen to what your body is telling you. Are you tired? Stressed? Anxious? Instead of pushing through, consider that God might be speaking to you through these physical signals, inviting you to slow down and receive His care.

Bible Verse
'I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.' - Psalm 139:14

Reflection Question
What is your body trying to tell you right now that you might be ignoring?

Quote
Your body knows something is broken. Before your mind does, your body knows you're anxious. Before your mind ever catches it, your body knows you're depressed and stressed and is tired before your mind ever catches it, your body is something that you can listen to that God speaks through.

Prayer
God, help me to honor the body You've given me and to listen to the ways You speak through it. Teach me to see physical care as spiritual obedience.
